This festive take on the classic old fashioned cocktail brings a touch of sweetness from a simple vanilla simple syrup with the notes of caramel and spice from Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey.  2 oz Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey.5 oz vanilla spiced simple syrup (recipe below)2 dashes aromatic bitters1 dash black walnut bitters Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.
