Some Beach Somewhere

Coconut washed Belle Meade Bourbon forms the base for this fun, tiki-inspired cocktail. The tropical vibes will put you in a vacation mindset no matter where you are – no beach required!

2 oz coconut washed Belle Meade Bourbon
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz simple syrup
.25 oz allspice dram

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a glass or tiki mug over pebble ice. Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon, a cinnamon stick and a lime wheel.

To create the coconut washed bourbon, melt 7 oz virgin coconut oil in a saucepan. In a nonreactive container, combine one (750ml) bottle of Belle Meade Bourbon with the melted oil and stir to combine. Let sit at room temperature while the oil separates. Cover and freeze overnight. Remove the coconut oil from the top and fine strain through cheesecloth to remove any remaining solids. The infusion of the coconut flavor lends a soft mouthfeel and tropical flavor without losing any of the flavors unique to Belle Meade Bourbon.
