Madeira Cask Julep

A lush, layered riff on the mint julep. Madeira adds richness to this cooling classic, accented with bitters and fragrant mint.
2 oz Nelson Brothers Madeira Cask Finish
.5oz madeira syrup (1:1)
1 dash aromatic bitters
1 dash orange bitters
Mint
In a julep tin, gently muddle mint with bitters. Add remaining ingredients and fill ¾ full with pebble ice. Stir to chill and dilute slightly. Top with more ice. Garnish with a mint bouquet and an expressed lemon peel.
