Green Brier Hot Cocoa

There’s little in life more indulgent than cozying up under a warm blanket with a cup of steaming hot cocoa. Well, that’s until you’ve spiked it with the coffee, hazelnut, and pecan flavors from Nelson’s Green Brier Cream Liqueur. A simplified chocolate ganache recipe, the hot cocoa base simply requires two ingredients and is easily scaled for larger batches. 

1.5 oz Nelson’s Green Brier Cream Liqueur
2/3 c bittersweet chocolate chips
8 oz milk or milk substitute

In a saucepan over medium heat, heat milk until simmering. Using a whisk, blend in chocolate chips until melted, add Nelson’s Green Brier Cream Liqueur and serve. 

Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
