.25 oz Averna Amaro
1 Barspoon Demerara Syrup
2 dashes Root Beer Bitters
2 oz Little Harpeth "Stax" Black Lager

Stir and Strain. Serve in a rocks glass with 1 large cube or sphere. Top with 2 oz. Little Harpeth “Stax” Black Lager. Garnish with an orange peel.

The dark chocolate notes of Averna Amaro and Little Harpeth “Stax” Black Lager balances with the spicy, high-rye content of Belle Meade Bourbon. The Root Beer Bitters add an accent of licorice to make this cocktail the perfect sipper by a nice, warm fire.
