Ten Lords A Leaping

This decadent chocolate flip cocktail is part of our 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails Series at the Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery Cocktail Bar. Visit the Distillery Cocktail Bar Thursday-Sunday through December 23 to see which of the 12 special cocktails are available.

2 oz Nelson Bros. Bourbon
.5 oz demerara syrup (equal parts demerara sugar and water)
.5 oz chocolate syrup
Whole egg
1 dash aromatic bitters

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. "Dry shake" with no ice to mix the ingredients then add ice and shake again until chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass. Express the oils from an orange peel over the top of the drink and discard the peel.
