Louisa's Hot Chocolate
When looking for a beverage to enjoy around the fire after a long day out in the cold, a steaming mug of hot chocolate is a classic choice. Louisa’s Coffee Caramel Pecan Liqueur pairs beautifully with a rich homemade chocolate syrup.

2 oz Louisa’s Liqueur
2 oz house made chocolate syrup*
4 oz oat milk (or milk of choice)
Add syrup and milk to a small saucepan and warm until heated through. While cocoa is heating, fill a mug with hot water. To serve, pour out the hot water and add Louisa’s liqueur to the prepared mug and top with hot chocolate. Stir briefly to combine and top with whipped cream.
To prepare the chocolate syrup, combine one part cocoa powder, one part white sugar and two parts water. Heat gently, stirring until the cocoa and sugar are dissolved. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate.
