Hollywood Highball
The classic Brown Derby cocktail (bourbon, grapefruit juice and honey syrup) was originally created at the Vendome Club in Los Angeles during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Leaning into the tart, refreshing flavors we’ve replaced the honey syrup with honey liqueur and added soda for a highball with just the right amount of glamour.

1.5 oz Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey
.75 oz honey liqueur
1.5 oz grapefruit juice
.25 oz lemon juice
.25 oz simple syrup
2 dashes grapefruit bitters
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a highball glass over ice, top with a splash of soda water and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
