James Beard Awards: Call to Vote
It continues to be a privilege to create fine spirits in the name of our family’s pre-prohibition-era distillery, and share them with you each day. First pioneered in the late 1800s, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery thrived as one of the top whiskey distilleries in the nation. Resurrecting the historic family business of our great-great-great grandfather, who was one of the first to bottle whiskey in the United States, we now produce spirits based on the original family recipes, as well as new innovative offerings fueled by the modern age of distilling.
Today, we ask for your support in nominating us in the category of “Outstanding Wine, Beer, or Spirits Producer” for the 2019 James Beard Awards, one of the most prestigious recognitions for our industry in the country. This category honors a beer, wine, or spirits producer (that’s us, Andy and Charlie!) who demonstrates consistency and exceptional skill in his or her craft.
The James Beard Awards nominations customarily begin with with this step - a call of support from our patrons. In order to be selected as a semi-finalist, finalist, and winner, we must gather these initial nominations from friends, family, and fans. So today, we are kindly asking for a brief moment of your time to complete these steps below, and assist us in being recognized as innovators in this category of producing spirits.
