Pear and Ginger Highball
Bright and refreshing, this Pear & Ginger Highball is sure to be a crowd pleaser at any holiday gathering. Pear puree is sweetened to create a pear nectar which pairs with spicy ginger beer. The perfect bubbly cocktail to cheers with friends and family!

2 oz Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey
1.5 oz pear nectar
.25 oz lemon juice
.25 oz vanilla syrup
2 dashes black lemon bitters
Combine all ingredients (except for the ginger beer) in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a flute or highball glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a lemon pigtail.
To make the pear nectar, combine 2 parts pear puree, one part simple syrup and one part water. Stir to combine and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
